Empathy, Understanding & Guidance.

“I came to Christine at a very vulnerable time in my life related to both my career and long-term relationship. The sessions meant so much to me, and I appreciated her empathy, understanding, and guidance. She was able to challenge my perspective in a gentle but direct and honest way, which helped me find clarity and resolution. I felt believed and accepted, which hadn’t  happened in a long time. I have since been able to make significant changes, and want to thank Christine for helping me through some of the most challenging times of my career. Thank you Christine!”

Important and Effective.

“You know your therapist is important and effective when … when you can’t wait to see her again. The first thing you see and feel with Christine is she is listening to you. Carefully listening. She starts off deep in her chair as you settle in with some comforting small talk, and very quickly, you noticed she is sitting forward in her chair in full therapist mode. She’s wise, she’s relatable and she’s believable.”

Helped me through so much in my life.

“I just want to give a shout out to Christine! I have been seeing her for almost 10 years and she has helped me through so much in my life from kids, marriage, loss and grief. She gave me courage to do things I never thought possible. She walked through dark journeys with me and led me to the light. She is an angel on earth and I can’t express enough how grateful I am to have met her! If it wasn’t for her, I’m not sure where I would be. Thank you Christine for being the one to hold my hand and guide me through this crazy life! I feel truly blessed!”

Helped me discover the lifelong tools that are required when faced with uncertain situations.

“Finding Christine was the best thing my “ex” ever did for our relationship. When we first started sessions with Christine she challenged us both to new strategies and ideas towards a happier, healthier relationship. However, as time grew on it was evident to me that our relationship could not endure the battles we continued to face. Christine helped me realize my worth as a woman, a mother and as a partner. I felt that I was undeserving of healthy love. I continued to seek her counsel after leaving the relationship and gained new tools to be the best version of myself. Today, I am happy, healthy and have found my inner strength because of the encouragement and support I received from Christine. Christine helped me reveal the courage that was so deeply hidden within. She helped me find the strength to make the best life for my daughter and I. Christine has helped me discover the lifelong tools that are required when faced with uncertain situations. I am now able to navigate my way through issues much quicker and without the unsettling fear that once resided in me.

Thank you Christine.”

I found her easy to open up to on sensitive issues.

“I came to Christine during a relationship ending divorce. She expertly guided me through the journey with calm practical skill. Her greatest attribute was in reinforcing to me that the relationship ended but did not fail. Christine is current on psychological approaches on this issue and provided a perspective that greatly diminished my sense of self-imposed guilt. I found her easy to open up to on sensitive issues and supportive in dispelling antiquated notions of marriage and relationships. I received great value from my sessions that created a very healthy experience for me.”

Getting past the fear of confronting my problem was the hardest part.

“At 59 years of age, I decided it was time to address my anger problem. OK, let’s be honest: not really an anger problem; more like erupting in a rage over seemingly minor problems. As a business owner, these occasional eruptions were costing me personal relationships and employees … and money. Frankly, this has been a lifelong problem that I should have addressed many years ago.

Christine helped me to understand what was going on under the surface that caused me to erupt. She helped me to understand my feelings in the moment, my anxieties in general, and also how my past experiences defined who I am today. She introduced me to a couple of books that helped me understand how to treat myself better, but mostly it was talk therapy where her guidance helped me do the work to understand myself. The questions Christine posed weren’t always easy to answer, but taking time to think them through and answer them honestly helped me better understand myself. And I came away with a different perception of myself, and my self worth, along with some strategies for dealing with feelings in the moment.

Getting past the fear of confronting my problem was the hardest part. From the first meeting, Christine was easy to talk to and non-judgemental in her approach; and her office was a tranquil space. Over time, our sessions became a quite comfortable conversation that I actually looked forward to. To say the results have been positive would be an understatement, and I am very thankful for Christine’s assistance.”
